Hidden by the Forest, Nurtured by the Land.
About Us
Welcome to Bosque
At Bosque, we are more than just a brand, we're a collective movement on a mission to revitalize Puerto Rico's rich agricultural heritage by uplifting its small farmers livelihoods. Our values are deeply rooted in community empowerment, cultural reverence, passionate craftsmanship, and a profound love for the land that sustains us.
Nestled in La Cordillera de Puerto Rico, Bosque is a proudly Puerto Rican-owned social enterprise. With over 7 years commitment, we strive to elevate our island's coffee and terroir-driven treasures to the highest levels globally. Along the way, we've formed a diverse coalition of inspiring individuals from the field to the coffee shop level. Our coalition of over 50 passionate farmers share our vision of transparency, sustainability, and excellence.
Every product or experience we offer is guided by our important mission. Each product. Our curated catalog is a mosaic of the diverse microclimates and authentic stories. And our thoughtfully crafted experiences aim to connect you directly to the heart of La Cordillera.
We hope you'll join us on this journey to reignite Puerto Rico's legacy as a premier origin, once celebrated by royalty and now poised for revival.
What We Do
BOSQUE is vertically integrated, meaning we work directly at the seedling nursery, finca, processing (beneficiado), roasting, and coffee shop level with a focus of value-added specialty production.
Our Key Initiatives
Nursery
We produce organic heirloom Typica 401 coffee seedlings, reviving this unique varietal, introduced to Puerto Rico in the 1700s. We collaborate with specialized nurseries to distribute native shade trees, erosion-mitigating plants, experimental companion crops, and bio-inputs like organic compost to farmers.
Farm
In addition to managing our own farm, we provide direct support to various small farmers in our network.
Processing (Beneficiado)
We specialize in producing innovative, high-quality specialty coffees across four major categories: Community Lots (Comunidad), Single Estates (Única), Competition Series (Competencia), and Experimental Lots (Experimental). In order to be among the best in the world, we are constantly experimenting to create new processes and profiles.
Network
Bosque acts as a hub for about 50 farmers, by facilitating collaboration, access to resources, education, and more.
Cacao and Beyond
Our vision for Puerto Rico's new Agro-Economy includes diversifying local agriculture with like crops like cacao and vanilla production, to enhance income streams for farmers. We currently manage, purchase, and process cacao.
Community Education
Through workshops, programs, and partnerships, we aim to create opportunities for professional growth to keep people engaged at all levels of the industry.
AMIGOS del BOSQUE Program
Through this initiative, we fuel the new wave of local specialty coffee culture in Puerto Rico. We provide exclusive benefits, training, access, and discounts to our local members. This program fosters connections within the coffee industry, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Our Story
The Founder
Domenico Celli
Founder
Over the past 5 years, Domenico has worked alongside small farmers, rural business owners, local artists, non-profit leaders, government officials, and innovative social start-ups to find solutions that raise the sustained equilibrium in the standard of living for the small agri-preneurs of Puerto Rico's Cordillera Central.
His journey formally began in 2017. As a Political Science & Global Studies student, he initiated a project tracing the political-economic history of Puerto Rico to uncover the issues, events, and dynamics that plagued agriculture on the island. However, the seed of his passion for this project was sown much earlier; as a child, he and his siblings spend most summers in Puerto Rico with his grandparents and relatives. Inspired by his childhood experiences, and concern for the apparent deterioration in the quality of life and ecological outcomes resulting from the prevailing food-systems dynamic in Puerto Rico, he delved deeper.
